Having lived the majority of my life as a people pleaser… it’s been quite a wakeup call the past few years as I transitioned into setting better boundaries & doing less sugar-coating for egos.

Those who need constant validation will fade away when you stop spoon-feeding it to them…

Nonsense drains you whether you care to acknowledge it or not.

The longer you put yourself aside to please another person or be liked…

The longer you allow ppl to have access to you who don’t respect you…the more you just shovel bitterness into your own bucket to deal with later.

Maybe it won’t be apparent today or this week, but eventually, there will be no hiding it. It’s impossible.

The version of you in 20 years does not want to be wound up in a bitterness ball.

Protect the version of you in 2039.

Speak your truth.
Protect your time.
Stop dwelling on nonsense.
Don’t give your time to peeps who drain the F out of you.
Stop saying yes when you want to say no.
